San Antonio Spurs vs. Brooklyn Nets (7:30 PM ET)

Line: San Antonio Spurs (-14) vs. Brooklyn Nets (+14); total: 193.0– view all NBA lines

[sc:NBA250 ]Ever since their Christmas Day loss to Houston, the San Antonio Spurs have bullied their opponents in resounding fashion. They enter this matchup as winners of seven-straight games along with a respectable 10-6 road record. But in their last game, the Spurs were heavily test at home by the New York Knicks, who were led by Kristaps Porzingis inspiring efforts of 28 points and 11 boards.

Fortunately, there was Kawhi Leonard to save the day for the Spurs with his own double-double output: 19 points and 12 rebounds. That win extended their winning streak at AT&T center to 22-0 and their overall record to 32-6 this season.

Now, the Spurs will look to stay on the winning track and impose their dominance opposite the struggling Brooklyn Nets. They should be able to do so against a Nets squad that’s dearly missing the services of Jarrett Jack, allowing 102.3 PPG and a 46.0 opponents’ field goal percentage.

San Antonio is 6-4 SU and ATS in its previous 10 road games. Brooklyn, meanwhile, is 1-9 SU and 3-7 ATS in its last 10 at Barclays Center.

Writer’s Prediction

San Antonio (-14) annihilates Brooklyn, 109-83.

Miami Heat vs. Golden State Warriors (10:30 PM ET)

Line: Miami Heat (+12.5) vs. Golden State Warriors (-12.5); total: 205.0– view all NBA lines

Best Games to Bet on Today: Spurs vs Nets and Heat vs Warriors

After opening a long six-game road trip on a winning note, the Miami Heat failed to sustain their momentum by falling to the Jazz, 98-83, last Saturday. Gordon Hayward’s 34-point eruption and Dwyane Wade’s dismal shooting night (3-for-17) ultimately led to Miami’s demise.

However, Wade and co. won’t be catching a break at all in their next matchup against the Golden State Warriors. The Heat’s offense (97.0 PPG) and defense (94.8 PPG), will need to be at its best form opposite the Warriors, who are the highest-scoring team in the league with 114.5 PPG and have the reigning MVP Stephen Curry (29.5 PPG, 5.3 RPG and 6.5 APG) on their side.

Miami is 5-5 SU and 3-6-1 ATS in its last 10 opposite the Warriors. Golden State, on the other hand, is 6-4 ATS in its previous 10 games at home.
