Memphis Grizzlies vs. Golden State Warriors (8:00 PM ET)
Line: Memphis Grizzlies (+10) vs. Golden State Warriors (-10); total: 208.0 – view all NBA lines
This is a no-brainer. The Warriors are playing at home, where they are 9-1 SU and 4-5-1 ATS, and have won six in a row heading into this matchup. During that stretch, they’ve scored no less than 106 points and are beating their opponents by a double-digit margin. But knowing the Grizzlies, they should at least make things close for the most part until they run out of fuel to keep up with the Warriors’ league-leading offense (116.1) and superior shooting (49.3 FG%).
Do note that Memphis beat Golden State in the first two meetings this season, including a 128-119 comeback win last January.
Writer’s Prediction
Golden State (-10) wins and barely covers.
Portland Trail Blazers vs. Los Angeles Lakers (9:30 PM ET)
Line: Portland Trail Blazers vs. Los Angeles Lakers – view all NBA lines
Rip City is coming off back-to-back home wins against Minnesota and New York. In both games, the usual suspects led the way as Damian Lillard and C.J McCollum averaged 25.7 points combined in that brief stretch. They should be able to keep lighting up the scoreboard against a lotter-bound Lakers team that ranks among the worst in defense. Plus, we’ve already seen the Blazers dissect the purple and gold with ease in the previous three meetings this season.
Writer’s Prediction
Portland wins, 110-106.
