Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Wisconsin Badgers (7:00 PM ET)
Line: Ohio State Buckeyes (+11) vs. Wisconsin Badgers (-11) – view all NCAAB lines
The Buckeyes have lost three in a row and are still looking for their first win in conference play. They take on No. 18 Wisconsin, which is also coming off a loss against Purdue. Prior to that though, the Badgers are winners of their previous nine. They’ve dominated team mostly on the defensive end, where they’re allowing just 59.8 points per contest. That doesn’t look to good for a cold Ohio State squad that’s shooting only 42.0 percent from the field in its current losing slide, and one that’s 0-3 SU and 2-1 ATS versus ranked opponents this season.
Writer’s Prediction
Wisconsin (-11) wins and covers.
Chicago Bulls vs. New York Knicks (8:00 PM ET)
Line: Chicago Bulls (+3) vs. New York Knicks (-3); total: 203.5 – view all NBA lines
This is a battle between two Eastern Conference rivals hoping to snap their respective losing slides. Chicago enters as losers of back-to-back games, with the latest of which happening on Tuesday night against the Wizards, who used a huge second-half surge to escape with a 101-99 victory. Both Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade sat out in that game, but the Bulls surprisingly almost stole that one. The former, however, is expected miss tonight’s game with the Knicks due to a lingering illness. Hence, all eyes will be on Wade to carry most of the scoring load versus a New York team that’s dropped its last three, including a Wednesday-night collapse in Philadelphia.
The Bulls are 3-2 SU and 4-1 ATS in their last five road games, while the Knicks are 1-4 SU and 2-3 ATS in the same stretch at home.
Writer’s Prediction
Knicks (-3) beat and cover against a Butler-less Bulls club.
