Great news hoops fans. There’s plenty of great basketball action coming your way tonight. First off, the resurgent Cleveland Cavaliers look to extend their winning run when they host the Utah Jazz. Then, the streaking Golden State Warriors host the Houston Rockets in a marquee Western Conference showdown.

[sc:NBA240banner ]The Cleveland Cavaliers stretched their winning streak to three games Monday with a convincing 108-94 win over the Chicago Bulls. LeBron James led the way for the Cavaliers with 26 points as all five of their starters scored in double-figures.
Even the Cavs’ new recruits joined in the fun as well as J.R. Smith and Timofey Mozgov combined for 35 points in the rout. The Cavs will fancy their chances of extending their winning run later tonight as they’ll face a Utah Jazz side that is struggling for form at the present time.
The Jazz were held down to just 69 points in a 20-point setback to the San Antonio Spurs Monday night. It was Utah’s fourth loss in their last five games.

The Golden State Warriors will look to extend their winning streak to three games when they face the Houston Rockets at Oracle Arena. The Warriors are coming off an emphatic 122-79 win over the Denver Nuggets where five different players scored in double-figures.
The win stretched the Warriors’ winning run at home to a franchise-best 16 games. Extending that home winning streak to 17 will be easier said than done, though, as standing in their way are the red-hot Houston Rockets.
The Rockets have won six of their last eight games, including Monday’s 110-98 win over the Indiana Pacers. James Harden was unstoppable in that game, scoring a season-high 45 points on 12-of-18 shooting from the field.
