Kyle Larson (+900)
Larson a sleeper? Traditionally not, of course. But at his current odds to win the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 400, he appears to be a relatively high-value sleeper pick. Larson has taken quite a number of stumbles this season which partly explains why his odds to win this week’s race aren’t as short as they used to in other previous races. Out of 14 career starts at Martinsville Speedway, Larson has come up with two top 5s and three top 10s.
Aric Almirola (+5000)
Almirola is inside the playoff picture with 184 points, thanks in large part to three top 10s. He hasn’t won a race yet this season and has cooled down a bit after a terrific start but he can get hot again at Martinsville Speedway, where he finished sixth in last year’s edition of the Xfinity 500.
Chris Buescher (+1000)
The Team Roush Fenway Racing driver has seven starts this season. Among those starts, Buescher has managed to finish inside the top 10 twice. The last time he burned rubber at Martinsville Speedway, he finished ninth at the 2021 Xfinity 500. His best finishes this season were seventh in Atlanta and 10th in Phoenix last March.
