Betting on the Buffalo Bills (+1)

The Bills are unquestionably one of the biggest contenders to win the Super Bowl this season. With an elite quarterback in Josh Allen and a talented group of wide receivers plus a deep backfield, the Bills have the weapons to make noise right out of the gate against the defending Super Bowl champions. Last season, Allen passed for 4,407 yards and 36 touchdowns against 15 interceptions while also rushing for six scores. They have also added another sharp weapon to their defense, with the offseason acquisition of veteran pass rusher Von Miller.
The Bills, who averaged 29.8 points per game in 2021, are 4-1-1 against the spread in their last six games overall.
Betting on the Los Angeles Rams (-1)
Regular Season Record: 0-0
The Rams need no introduction, as they are, after all, the reigning Super Bowl champions. They still got Matthew Stafford under center and Cooper Kupp as the top wide receiver, Kupp had an incredible season in 2021, having led the entire NFL with 1,947 receiving yards to go with 16 receiving touchdowns. And while they appear to have lost a couple of key wideouts downfield over the offseason with Odell Beckham Jr. and Robert Woods gone, the Rams still managed to add a fantastic asset in Allen Robinson, who now finds himself in a whole lot better offensive environment compared to that when he was still with the Chicago Bears. Defensively, the Rams remain formidable with Aaron Donald, Bobby Wagner, and Jalen Ramsey working together on that end of the field.
The Rams are 5-0 against the spread in their last five Week 1 games.
