The Chicago Bears are slowly tightening their grip on the top spot of the NFC North, but there’s a ton of job left for them to do to secure that. They will look to win their fourth-straight victory this coming Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, who are merely hoping they could make a return in the win column after suffering back-to-back setbacks.
The Bears are +175 to win the NFC North, while the Dolphins are behind the New England Patriots in the odds to top the AFC East with a price of +700.

Betting on the Chicago Bears (3-1)
The Bears’ defense has been established as among the best in the NFL even before the 2018 season kicked off. Now, it’s looking as though Chicago’s offense is starting to catch up the high standards of its stop unit. That was evident in their last game in which quarterback Mitchell Trubisky erupted for 354 passing yards and six touchdowns with zero interceptions in a 48-10 demolition job of a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home back in Week 4. Coming off a bye week, the Bears should be fully charged for an encounter with the Dolphins on the road. The Bears, who are second in the NFL in both scoring defense and total defense with 16.2 points and 294.5 total yards allowed per contest, crippled Tampa Bay’s offense, recording three interceptions and three sacks while also limiting the Bucs to only 60 rushing yards. Miami is already having issues on offense and the Dolphins’ problems on that end of the field should only be compounded by the Bears’ merciless defense.
The Bears are 3-1 ATS in their last four road games.
Betting on the Miami Dolphins (3-2)
After a 3-0 SU start to the season, the Dolphins have now lost their last two games, including their 27-17 defeat at the hands of the Cincinnati Bengals on the road. Speaking of which, both of their losses this season happened away from South Beach, so a home game in Week 6 could be just what the doctor ordered for the Dolphins. Miami was looking like it was headed to a 4-1 record entering the fourth quarter of the Bengals game with a 14-point lead before getting outscored 24-0 in the final period. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill passed for only 185 yards and a touchdown with two picks against Cincy and was also sacked three times. Miami’s offensive line will have to tighten up its pass protection, as it will soon face pass rushing beast Khalil Mack and the Bears’ defense that is second in the NFL with 18.0 sacks to date.
Miami is 3-1 SU and ATS in its last four home games dating back to last season.
Writer’s Prediction
Chicago wins, 25-17.
