Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins are having fun again. Tagovailoa passed for 382 yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions on 29/36 completions versus the Lions. Life for a quarterback just gets so much easier when he has receivers like Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Hill led the Fins in the Detroit game with 188 receiving yards, while Waddle finished with 106 receiving yards and two touchdowns on eight receptions. Those are two incredible field stretchers who can pave the way for a big game from the Dolphins’ ground attack. For one, Chicago is second-worst in the NFL with 156.0 rushing yards allowed per game.
The Dolphins are 5-0 against the spread in their last five November games.
Betting on the Chicago Bears (+5.0)
Regular Season Record: 3-5
The Bears played catch-up all game long against Dallas in Week 8. Justin Fields passed for 151 yards and two touchdowns on 17/23 completions while running back Khalil Herbert led the team with 99 rushing yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. Chicago’s offense looked sound overall, but its stop unit was a mess, particularly on the ground where the Bears gave up 200 yards and four touchdowns. Dismantling Miami’s passing and rushing attacks won’t be easy, but Chicago is also the same team that just limited the New England Patriots to only 260 total yards in Week 7.
The Bears are 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five games after a loss.
Writer’s Prediction
The Dolphins win, 27-14.
