The Cleveland Browns are desperately in need of a win to keep themselves in contention for a playoff spot in the AFC. That’s going to be easier said than done with the Green Bay Packers waiting for them in Week 16 at Lambeau Field. Will the Browns upset Green Bay on the road? The Browns had another heartbreaking loss in Week 15, as they absorbed a 16-14 defeat at the hands of the Las Vegas Raiders. Cleveland was nursing plenty of injuries in Week 15, with Baker Mayfield, Case Keenum, Kareem Hunt, and Jarvis Landry all out. There’s a possibility that they will return in time for Week 16, but if they can’t go, expect Cleveland to get heavy dosages of Nick Mullens under center and Nick Chubb in the backfield. Mullens went 20/30 for 147 passing yards and a touchdown with zero interceptions against the Raiders. That was not a bad performance at all for Mullens, especially in his first start of the season, but it’s Chubb that will be the bigger key for the Browns., He had 91 rushing yards and a touchdown on 23 carries against the Raiders.

The NFC North is once again ruled by the Packers, who secured another division title after taking down the Baltimore Ravens in Week 15 on the road, 31-30. Aaron Rodgers had a majestic performance in that game, passing for 268 yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions on 23/31 completions. Marquez Valdes-Scantling led Green Bay with 98 receiving yards and a touchdown on five catches, while Davante Adams finished with 44 receiving yards and a touchdown on six receptions. As long as Rodgers is healthy, the Packers’ offense can have success against any defense. Their pass protection can use some improvement, as the Browns’ pass rush is quite a challenge, but Rodgers should still be able to find ways to toss a gem in Week 16.
