Betting on Manchester City
Manchester City extended their winning streak to three games with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Everton on Sunday. Aleksandar Kolarov and substitute Samir Nasri struck after the break for the Citizens, who moved to the top of the Premier League table with nine points to their name.
[sc:Soccer240banner ]Key to Manchester City’s sizzling start has been their impeccable defense. They have yet to concede a goal in the Premier League this season. Their victory against the Toffees was their third clean sheet in the competition.
Vincent Kompany and Eliaquim Mangala have proven to be impregnable at the center of the defense for Manchester City. They were superb in their handling of Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, who looked out of sorts in that game against City.
For City to preserve their perfect record this coming Saturday, they will need to continue their excellent form on the offensive end. They lead the league in scoring this season with eight goals. To make matters worse for the other teams in the league, their attacking line got even stronger with the addition of Kevin De Bruyne.
City agreed to a club-record £55 million fee with Wolfsburg to sign the highly-rated Belgian international. De Bruyne was phenomenal for the German club last season, scoring 16 goals and dishing out a whopping 28 assists. He will be another offensive weapon for Manchester City, who have already signed Nicolas Otamendi, Raheem Sterling, Fabian Delph and Patrick Roberts this past offseason.
Manchester City are 3-2-1 in their last six games.

Betting on Watford
Watford stretched their unbeaten run to three games with a gritty 0-0 stalemate against Southampton on Sunday. It was the third consecutive draw for the Hornets, who leapfrogged to 11th in the Premier League table with three points to their name.
Things are bound to get tougher, though, for the newly-promoted side as standing in their way in the next match are leaders Manchester City. The Citizens are unbeaten in their last seven matches against Watford. The Hornets were destroyed 4-2 in their last meeting against Manchester City in the FA Cup on January 2014.
For Watford to record their first win of the season this coming Saturday, they need to improve on their misfiring offense. They have scored just two goals in their first three games this season, the worst mark in the entire Premier League. The onus is on Troy Deeney to start banging in the goals for Watford. He scored 21 goals in all competitions for the Hornets last season. He has yet to open his account this campaign.
Watford are 1-1-4 in their last six games.
