The Tigers held the Alabama offense to 314 total yards. Quarterback Jarrett Stidham passed for 237 yards and had no turnovers in the win. Look for Stidham to be relied on heavily late in this game.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Tigers limited Georgia to just 230 total yards. Auburn even went a step further virtually eliminating the nations best one two rushing combo to 48 yards on two carries
The last time Georgia and Auburn took the field against each other, was this season. The Tigers destroyed the then number one ranked Bulldogs, 40-17. Expect revenge to be a factor for the Bulldogs in this game.
Writer’s Prediction
The Bulldogs and Tigers are going to be playing with high emotions to start this game. The teams will be playing for a shot to play in the National Championship. The Bulldogs will probably have most of the pressure on their shoulders in this game. If Georgia can’t get the ground game going early, Jake Fromm is not going to be the answer late in the game.
The Auburn Tigers are looking to be a two loss team in the College Football Playoff. The Tigers are clicking on all cylinders right now, and expect them to cover and beat Georgia for the second time this year. Pick: Auburn (-2.5)
