Hottest Female Tennis Players in the World 2015-16

Finally, a tennis feature that does not involve Serena Williams.

All kidding and hurt feelings aside, the tennis world certainly isn’t short on beautiful women, that’s for sure. Coming up with our list of the hottest female tennis players was a cinch, but whittling down the list to just ten names was tougher than expected.

Still wondering why Serena didn’t make the cut on our list? Gaze upon ten of the most athletic and photogenic women that are sizzling up the courts of the WTA. Feel free to send us some hate mail afterwards if you still insist that Ms. Williams deserves a spot in this countdown after seeing her aesthetically-gifted competition.

And if you’re up for some real tennis coverage, check out our special 2015 US Open feature on the top five greatest moments in the history of the tournament.

Top 10 Hottest Female Tennis Players in the World

10. Laura Robson

[sc:Other240banner ]Watch out, because holding serve to start our countdown is Laura Robson. Don’t be fooled by this British knockout’s cute face and sweet demeanor, because she will smash her renowned aggressive serves and forehands your way.

Although she has yet to win her first singles title in the WTA, Robson – at just 21 years of age – still has plenty of years in her prime to make a run atop the world rankings, and more men to drool over her on-court appearances.

9. Dominika Cibulkova

What do we really know about Slovakia? Well, Dominika Cibulkova’s from that country, so that should get you started.

At 5’3″, Cibulkova sure packs a strong game (and game face to boot) in spite of her diminutive frame. She was also the first and only Slovak to reach a Grand Slam – the final round the 2014 Australian Open, where she lost to Li Na.

8. Maria Kirilenko

If this guy is the only Kirilenko you’ve ever heard about, well tough luck, and too late.

Maria Kirilenko is one helluva draw on and off the courts. This sultry Soviet was once engaged to NHL superstar Alex Ovechkin, but is now (happily?) married to a Russian government official, who will go unnamed here for rather obvious reasons. She also just gave birth to a baby boy this July, so it might take some more time before she gets back into professional tennis action.

7.  Julia Goerges

If you’re like us and you can’t pronounce Julia Goerges’ surname properly, it’s definitely alright to simply call her “gorgeous”.

The 26-year old German sensation is not as prolific in singles tournaments as much as the doubles, so now would be the right time to start training whatever little tennis skills you have for a tryout as her partner on the courts while she’s still single.

6. Ana Ivanovic

We hope Ana Ivanovic doesn’t take her ranking on this here list as an offense, because not all former World No. 1’s stay at the top of the mountain for too long.

The scorching Serb certainly knows the feeling, reaching the summit of the WTA back in June of 2008, when she also won her first and only Grand Slam title at the French Open. It won’t be long until Ivanovic will be crawling her way up the standings again, but for now, let’s just crawl through more of her stunning pics found all across the internet.

5. Eugenie Bouchard

Canadians are probably the nicest people in the world. They may have gone overboard with their kindness, though, because Eugenie Bouchard is almost too much for us to handle.

“Princess Eugenie” is just 21 years old, and she has the killer looks and on-court talent that often draws comparisons to the number one player on our list. She’ll be hungry for her first WTA title too, after coming ever so close to a Grand Slam victory at Wimbledon 2014.

4. Caroline Wozniacki

We here at Top Bet might be getting a call from 2014 NFL Defensive Player of the Year and mammoth of a man J.J. Watt anytime soon, because his girlfriend, Caroline Wozniacki, has now appeared on two of our site’s lists. (Here’s our previous work, but hide it from J.J.’s view right away!)

Wozniacki reached the final round of the US Open just this past year, so all her focus will be on the tournament and not her man by the end of this month. Lucky for us, we have television screens to watch her fight her way back to the top of the WTA world in all her sweet, sweaty glory.

3. Daniela Hantuchova

Hard to believe, but Daniela Hantuchova is already 32 years old. And to think, she only did her stunning pictorial for ESPN’s Body Issue just three years ago.

While the years of Hantuchova’s prime might be behind her, seven singles titles and nine from the doubles are still great accomplishments. Well if she does decide to call it quits in the near future, all us guys will be in eager anticipation for her to turn into a professional model, dolling it up in another skin-ny photoshoot.

2. Amandine Hesse

Alright, sue us already. Yes, Amandine Hesse is only on the ITF, but you’ll be thanking us once she breaks on through the WTA ranks, where her televised appearances will surely skyrocket.

We’ll also confess that there’s not much else that we can say in greater detail about lil’ miss Hesse, apart from her being 22 years old, that she hails from France, and that she’s super hot. With a smokin’ frame like that, wouldn’t you want to say “oui” for more of her in full action?

1. Maria Sharapova

Sorry ladies and gents, but no upsets here. The top spot of our list still belongs to a championship-caliber player and extreme hottie.

By now, everybody knows the name Maria Sharapova. Heck, just type “Maria” on Google and 99% of the time she’ll be on the auto-complete suggestion list. You won’t be lacking in bikini and upskirt shots of her, too.

Serena Williams may have a career record of 18-2 over our Russian Czarina, but from the carnal and shallow aesthetic points of view of the male species, it should definitely be the other way around.
