The Los Angeles Rams have completely moved on it seems from the annihilation they suffered in Week 1 at the hands of Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, as they have since won two games in a row, including last Sunday’s 20-12 road victory over the Arizona Cardinals. The San Francisco 49ers, on the other hand, are back to the drawing board after ending up on the wrong side of the picture in an ugly game against the Denver Broncos Sunday, picking up an 11-10 loss. Will the Rams keep their win streak alive past Week 4? Or will the 49ers go back to .500 by beating the reigning Super Bowl champions? Check out our preview of this Rams vs 49ers game in Week 4 of the 2022 NFL regular season.
Betting Preview for the Jacksonville Jaguars vs Philadelphia Eagles Week 4 Game on October 2, 2022
Where: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
When: Sunday, October 2, 2022, 1:00 PM ET
TV Broadcast: CBS
Betting on the Jacksonville Jaguars (+7.0)
Regular Season Record: 2-1
The Rams let their ground attack do most of the talking against Arizona, with Cam Akers leading the backfield with 61 rushing yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. Wide receiver Cooper Kupp also scored a rushing score because there is nothing he can’t do, right? Los Angeles is still not playing like its version in 2021, but the Rams are certainly looking like a much more effective team on offense than the Broncos’ disjointed attack, which San Francisco couldn’t even outscore in Week 3.
The Rams, who are scoring 20.3 points per game, are 4-1 against the spread in their last five outings on a Monday.
Betting on the Philadelphia Eagles (-7.0)
Regular Season Record: 3-0
If we’re being honest, the 49ers were an eyesore in their Week 3 game against Denver, and that’s saying a lot since the Broncos also had many people thinking about quitting watching football forever with the quality of play they put together in that same contest. However, the Niners could be a surprise this week. Jimmy Garoppolo was atrocious in the Denver game but that was also his first start of the season. With the rusts gone, Jimmy G should be able to be much more efficient this time around. If he gets it going early, Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel could have fun downfield against the Rams’ secondary which is mostly responsible for why LA is just 23rd in the league against the pass.
The 49ers are 5-0 against the spread in their last five home games.
The 49ers win, 23-20.
