The Kansas City Chiefs continue to pace the rest of the AFC West division, but the Oakland Raiders (+10000 to win Super Bowl 54) and the Los Angeles Chargers (+6000) are still giving Andy Reid’s team a chase. Will the Raiders win their second in a row by beating Los Angeles at home this coming weekend? Or will the Bolts pick up their third-straight victory?

Betting on the Los Angeles Chargers (4-5)
Are we seeing the Chargers turn things around? The Chargers looked like they had no direction over at three-game losing streak last October, but fresh off beating one of the best teams in the league, the Chargers may just have put those losses behind them and reintroduced a more lethal version of themselves to the rest of the NFL. The Chargers shocked Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers last Sunday with a 26-11 win at home. The Chargers held Rodgers down to only 161 passing yards on 23-of-35 completions. Also, the Chargers crippled Aaron Jones and the Packers’ backfield, which coughed up a measly output of 45 rushing yards, albeit on only 11 carries. The pass-rushing tandem of Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram III put relentless pressure on Rodgers, who was sacked three times. Bosa and Ingram each had 1.5 sacks. There also seems to be more life in the Chargers’ offense after firing offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt. Philip Rivers threw for 294 yards on 21-of-28 completions against the Packers, while Melvin Gordon had 80 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
The Chargers are 2-0 against the spread (ATS) in their last two games.
Betting on the Oakland Raiders (4-5)
The Raiders stopped the bleeding and are now looking to gain more steam. After back-to-back losses to the Packers and to the Houston Texans — both on the road — the Raiders returned home and gave their fans something to cheer about by taking down the Detroit Lions, 31-24. Raiders quarterback went 20 for 31 for 289 passing yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions He benefited greatly from Oakland’s offensive line that has been among the best in pass protection this season Carr was sacked just once for a loss of 10 yards in the Detroit game. On the season, the Raiders have allowed just nine sacks — second-fewest in the NFL. Ingram and Bosa are raring to give that offensive line a try, but they will also have to worry about stopping Raiders rookie running back Josh Jacobs, who had 120 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries against the Lions.
The Raiders are 4-1 ATS in their last five games. The over is also 5-1 in Oakland’s last six games.
Writer’s Prediction
The Raiders win, 24-20.
