The champions’ reign may soon be coming to an end but they are surely finishing the Premier League season in style. Leicester City thrashed Watford, 3-0, on Saturday to record their second successive league win. Wilfred Ndidi, Riyad Mahrez and Marc Albrighton scored the winning goals for the Foxes who guaranteed their Premier League survival with that victory.
Just like Man City, Leicester’s defense has been rock-solid of late. They have recorded clean sheets in each of their last two Premier League matches. The Foxes will have their work cut out for them, however, against a Manchester City side that’s fourth in the Premier League in scoring this season (70 goals).
That being said, the Foxes will fancy their chances of getting a positive result against the Citizens as they have fared extremely well against them of late. They have won each of their last two league matches against Manchester City. Leicester thrashed Man City, 3-1, in the corresponding fixture last season which proved to be the catalyst for their memorable title run. They duplicated that feat earlier this season when they walloped Man City, 4-2, at King Power Stadium.
