Once again the league is sending two teams packing overseas to play in the UK, which means anything can happen (#jetlag). The Minnesota Vikings are 9.5-point favorites over the winless Cleveland Browns, up sharply from a 7.5-point opener. The Over-Under is 38, which is also up from its opener (37.5). Again, playing in London changes the game, so if the Browns have a legitimate shot at breaking their brutal 0-7 streak, this is it!

Betting on the Minnesota Vikings (5-2)
The Minnesota Vikings have dealt with all kinds of injury issues, but somehow they still come into this game with a a 5-2 record and sit in first place in the NFC North. They have won three straight games over the Bears, Packers, and Ravens. The biggest strength for this team is no doubt on the defensive side of the ball.
Coming into this game they are giving up only 283 yards and 76.6 yards per game on the ground. They have done a good job of keeping the opponents in third down and longs, and then they can use their exotic blitz patches. Defensive end Everson Griffen has given opposing offensive line headaches this whole season. Coming into this season he already has nine sacks.
On the offensive side of the ball I would expect to see Case Keenum be the starting quarterback again in this game. He has played well for the most part throwing for 1322 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions. For Keenum the Vikings don’t need him to be exceptional, he just needs to be good enough and make a couple key throws a game and that has been enough to win games.
To win this game they Vikings just need to play their game, and the defense needs to put the Browns in third and longs. If they make the Browns uncomfortable they will turn the ball over.
Betting on the Cleveland Browns (0-7)
On the other side of this match up is the Cleveland Browns who once again are having a terrible year, and it doesn’t look like they are going to change it anytime soon.
They come into this game with an 0-7 record, and the biggest issue has been on the offensive side of the ball. They can’t stick with a quarterback and that has been problem number one.
They aren’t letting DeShone Kizer play through his struggles, instead they pull him which I think is actually hurting his development. No matter who ends up starting in this game, the Browns need their quarterback to stop turning the ball over. They are going to need to make quick short passes in this game, and hope that will keep themselves safe in the pocket.
If they hold the ball a lot, the Vikings defense is going to take advantage and beat up the offense all night.
Writer’s Prediction:
The Vikings defense is going to have no issue turning over the Browns and that will lead to an easy victory and a cover . Pick: Vikings (-9.5)
