New Orleans Saints vs Cincinnati Bengals Predictions, Picks, Odds, and Betting Preview – NFL Week 10 – November 11 2018

The 7-1 New Orleans Saints have every reason to walk with their chests out after blasting the Los Angeles Rams last Sunday at home. Up next for the Saints is a road game against the Cincinnati Bengals, whose defense will be put to the extreme test by Drew Brees and company. Will the Saints add Cincinnati to their list of victims? Or will the Bengals put on a show at home and upset New Orleans? NFL Futures currently price the Saints at +500 to win the Super Bowl while the Bengals are much further down the list, pegged at +6000.

Betting on the New Orleans Saints (7-1)

How about them Saints, huh? The Saints became the first team to put blemish on the Los Angeles Rams’ record this season, as they defeated Jared Goff and company at home in Week 9, 45-35. New Orleans’ defense was firing on all cylinders and not even Los Angeles’ vaunted defense was able to stop the Saints. Quarterback Drew Brees threw for 346 yards and four touchdowns with zero interceptions. It helped Brees a lot that his favorite target, Michael Thomas, was eating anyone the Rams put on him. Thomas finished the game with an incredible total of 211 passing yards and a touchdown. Running back Alvin Kamara added to the Rams’ headaches, as he had 82 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. After doing all of that to the Rams’ defense, there’s nothing to stop people from expecting the Saints to put up another offensive clinic next week against the Bengals’ faulty stop unit that is last in the league in total and passing defense with 447.8 total yards and 319.4 passing yards allowed per game.

The Saints, who are averaging 34.9 points per game, are 5-0 ATS in their last five road games.

Betting on the Cincinnati Bengals (5-3)

Did you miss Andy Dalton and gang? Well, they’re about to resurface this weekend after enjoying a much-needed bye. Before their extra week of rest, the Bengals defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home, 37-34. Although Cincy has a very susceptible defense as mentioned earlier, they showed up with some sharp claws on that end of the field against the Bucs by intercepting Jameis Winston four times and sacking him five times for a loss of 20 yards. On offense, the Bengals are probably worried that star wide receiver A.J. Green will not be able to play in Week 10. Green hasn’t been ruled out yet for the Saints game but Adam Schefter of ESPN has reported that the wideout is expected to miss “some games.” If so, Andy Dalton will look to increase this throws at the direction of Tyler Boyd, who had 138 receiving yards and a touchdown on nine receptions in the Bucs game.

The Bengals are 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS in their last five home games.

Writer’s Prediction

New Orleans wins, 31-23.
