The Los Angeles Rams are not looking good at the moment. They have lost all their last three games, including Week 10’s 27-17 defeat at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals at home. Up next for the defending Super Bowl champions is a date with the New Orleans Saints, who are also trying to find their way out of a slump after losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road Sunday, 20-10. Betting on the Los Angeles Rams (+3.5)
Regular Season Record: 3-6
The biggest concerns for the Rams heading into Week 10 are the statuses of quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Cooper Kupp. Stafford was ruled out of Week 10 because of concussion protocol, while Kupp appeared to have sustained an ankle injury that might not heal in time for Week 11. If Stafford can’t go, the Rams will turn to John Wolford again. The backup QB had 212 passing yards and a touchdown with an interception on 24/36 completions versus the Cards. If Kupp gets sidelined, Tyler Higbee, Allen Robinson, and Van Jefferson will be sharing most of the load downfield. Higbee led the Rams in Week 10 with 73 receiving yards.
The Under is 4-0 in the Rams’ last four games as the road team.
Betting on the New Orleans Saints (-3.5)
Regular Season Record: 3-7
The Saints’ offense was absent once again in Week 10. They scored just 10 points, all coming in the second period against the Steelers. Andy Dalton passed for 174 yards and a touchdown with two picks thrown on 17/27 completions. More frustrating for the Saints was the mere 26-yard production of running back Alvin Kamara on the ground. Kamara is a much better player than that, so he can always be seen as a threat to explode for the Saints, who are averaging 22.2 points per game, so far this season. With the current state of the Rams, it might not take much for New Orleans to keep up with LA offensively in Week 11.
The Saints are 8-2 against the spread in their last 10 Week 11 outings.
