First you’ve got the New York Giants 0-5 record, but then you’ve got their road team record for the past 6 years to consider, where they are 3-9 straight up and 4-8 against the spread (ATS) in games played to the west of the Mississippi. They find themselves on the wrong side of the map again here in Week 6 as they head to the Mile High city. Will the extend this season’s winless streak?

Betting on the New York Giants (0-5)
Everything has gone wrong for the New York Giants this season as they had high hopes of finally being able to compete against Philadelphia and Dallas in the East. Those hopes are out as a number of offensive weapons will be watching the games from the sidelines with horrible injuries.
Wide receiver Brandon Marshall has undergo season-ending surgery on his ankle as teammate Odell Beckham Jr will also have season-ending surgery on his fractured left ankle. Both of those weapons were quarterback Eli Manning’s favorite as now Manning will need to make some new friends across the offense.
It is going to be a tough mountain to climb, but New York has the passion and leadership to hopefully get past this horrible start. New York will be heading into Denver with a eleven point spread as the Giants should be able to keep pace with the slow Denver offense.
Betting on the Denver Broncos (3-1)
The Denver Broncos will be coming off a bye week after taking down rivals Oakland Raiders 16-10 over two weeks ago. With the well rested time off, expect the Broncos who currently sit at second place in the AFC West to try and climb their way to the top and pass the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. Just like New York, Denver has a tough mountain to climb to get over the undefeated Chiefs.
The Broncos only true opponent in the division looks to be the Chiefs as the Los Angeles Chargers have only picked up win win, and the Oakland Raiders have dropped three consecutive games.
Quarterback Trevor Siemian will be put to the test as their last 11 games will have seven road games. On the season, Siemian sits with a 62.7 % completion rate with seven touchdowns and four interceptions. One of the brighter moments of this offense has been running back C.J. Anderson who has totaled 330 rushing yards on 73 carries on the season.
Writer’s Prediction
Denver succeeds always at home as it will take some time for New York to find new offensive weapons. Pick: Broncos(+11.5)
