Betting on the New York Giants (+3.5)

Regular Season Record: 8-5-1

The Giants finally snapped a four-game winless streak with a 20-12 road win over the Washington Commanders last Sunday on the road. Daniel Jones passed for just 160 yards with zero touchdowns and zero interceptions while completing only 21/32 passes but the Giants’ defense held Washington just enough to keep New York’s anemic point production to ultimately hurt the team. Rookie Kayvon Thibodeaux was a menace on the defensive line, recording 12 total tackles with three tackles for loss and a sack against Washington. He’s going to be quite a handful for Kirk Cousins’ protection unit which has allowed seven sacks in Week 15.

The Giants are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games away from home.

Bet on the NY Giants

Betting on the Minnesota Vikings (-3.5)

Regular Season Record: 11-3

The Vikings were the biggest story in Week 15 after they erased a 33-point deficit to complete a historic comeback in a 39-36 overtime win at home against the Indianapolis Colts. The Vikings have now won three of their last four games. Cousins passed for 460 yards and four touchdowns with two interceptions on 35/54 completions, doing most of the damage in the memorable second half. Minnesota just has so many weapons to count on that even a massive lead can sometimes feel unsafe for an opponent. K.J. Osborn, Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen, TJ Hockenson, and Dalvin Cook are all capable of exploding at any given moment and game for Minnesota, which is averaging 25.1 points per game.

The Vikings are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games against a team with a winning record.
