The New York Jets need more wins to remain in contention for the AFC East title. They can get one this week against the Minnesota Vikings, but that, of course, is going to be easier said than done. For one, the Vikings have one of the three best records in the NFL after 12 weeks. Check out our preview of this Jets vs Vikings game in Week 13 of the 2022 NFL regular season.

Betting on the New York Jets (+3.0)
Regular Season Record: 7-4
Mike White played like a savior for the Jets in Week 12. Against the Chicago Bears at home, White, playing in lieu of Zach Wilson, who was benched after Week 11’s loss to the New England Patriots, went 22/28 for 315 passing yards and three touchdowns and without an interception in a 31-10 victory. White should continue to start for the Jets until his play drops off. He will get help from Garrett Wilson, who had 95 receiving yards and two touchdowns on just five catches and eight targets in the win over Chicago. With a rejuvenated offense and a defense that can make big plays, the Jets are looming as huge threats to the 9-2 Vikings.
The Jets are 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games overall.
Betting on the Minnesota Vikings (-3.0)
Regular Season Record: 9-2
The Vikings are back to their winning ways. After getting silenced by the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11, Kirk Cousins and the Vikings responded with a huge 33-26 home win over the New England Patriots on Thanksgiving. Cousins threw for nearly 300 yards with three touchdowns and just an interception on 30/37 completions. Life just becomes too easy for Cousins when Justin Jefferson is downfield. Jefferson collected 139 receiving yards and a touchdown on nine catches and 11 targets versus the Patriots. The Jets can’t focus too much on Jefferson, though, as the Vikings also still have Adam Thielen and TJ Hockenson, who combined for 104 receiving yards and two touchdowns in Week 12.
The Vikings, who are putting up 23.8 points per outing, are 4-1-1 against the spread in their last six games overall.
Writer’s Prediction
The Vikings win, 27-23.
