Starters: Masahiro Tanaka (7-5, 4.00 ERA) vs. Rick Porcello (8-7, 5.61 ERA)

The Yankees continue to have success when Tanaka is on the mound. Although the Japanese star has a 5.40 ERA in three starts this July, he still has a 2-0 record this month. The Yankees are also 7-0 in his last seven starts. Porcello is also not having a solid performance on the hill of late, as he’s recorded a high 10.57 ERA over his past five starts. That said, he is 3-1 over that stretch. In his last start, he gave up six earned runs on 11 hits in five innings of a 17-6 road win over the Baltimore Orioles on Jul. 20.

Edwin Encarnacion is 14-for-47 with three home runs in career vs. Porcello.

Mookie Betts is 14-for-43 with two homers in career vs. Tanaka.

Prediction: Yankees win, 6-4.

Starters: James Paxton (5-5, 4.20 ERA) vs. Andrew Cashner (9-5, 4.19 ERA)

This game is Paxton’s last chance to get a win this month in which he is 0-2 with a 3.80 ERA. The last time he was on the mound, he allowed four earned runs on five hits and lasted just 3.1 innings in an 8-4 home loss to the Colorado Rockies on Jul. 21. He is 3-2 with a 4.78 ERA in seven road starts this year. Cashner has allowed two home runs in each of his past two starts.  He is 4-1 with a 4.14 ERA in seven overall home starts this season.

Luke Voit is 5-for-7 in career vs. Cashner.

J.D. Martinez is 4-for-11 in career vs. Paxton.

Prediction: Yankees win, 5-4.

Starters: CC Sabathia (5-5, 4.50 ERA) vs. Eduardo Rodriguez (12-4, 4.10 ERA)

Sabathia allowed two earned runs on seven hits and struck out eight hitters in six innings of work during an 8-5 home loss to the Red Sox back in Jun. 2. He is sporting a 0-1 record and a 6.35 ERA in three starts this July. Rodriguez, meanwhile, has been in sensational form, going 4-0 to go with a 1.42 ERA in four starts this month. He is 5-1 with a 3.84 ERa in 10 home starts this 2019.

Didi Gregorius is 11-for-35 in career vs. Rodriguez.

Mookie Betts is 12-for-31 in career vs. Sabathia.

Prediction: Red Sox win, 5-3.

Starters: Domingo German (12-2, 4.03 ERA) vs. Chris Sale (5-9, 4.00 ERA)

German avoided a loss in his last start despite allowing eight earned runs on nine hits in only 3.2 innings of duty in a 14-12 road win over the Minnesota Twins on Jul. 23. He is 3-0 with a 4.57 ERA in his last four starts and is enjoying the backing of the Yankees’ offense that has provided 29 runs over that span. Sale got a win in his last mound duty, limiting the Tampa Bay Rays down to just two earned runs on four hits in six innings of a 5-4 road win on Jul. 23. Sale is 1-3 with a 4.26 ERA in 10 home starts this year.

Edwin Encarnacion is 7-for-21 with three home runs in career vs. Sale.

Brock Holt is 3-for-4 in career vs. German.

Prediction: Red Sox win, 7-4.
