Here we go! It’s the final week of the NFL and it’s going to be a beauty. Only two playoff spots are actually up for grabs. The rest is shifting positions for both the NFC and AFC. The New York Jets can make it in with a win and or a Pittsburgh Steelers loss. While the Steel City can crack their way into the post season with a New York Jets defeat at the hands of the Buffalo Bills. Over in the AFC, if Houston wins they’re in. If they lose and the Colts win, there’s a chance they can be bounced based on a thousand other scenarios.
Aside from that, there is major shifting throughout the brackets. In the NFC, every single team can move except for the Washington Redskins – they’re locked in. Meanwhile in the AFC, aside from the Jets and Steelers wild card hopes, and the AFC South playoff spot, every team is shuffling.
Before we get to the outside experts though, your should take a look at our expert’s Top Bet Writer’s Predictions for Week 17 in the NFL.

[sc:NFL240banner ] As you well know by now, all of these picks are against the spread (ATS). CBS Sports has been doing a solid job all season long with their picks. However, it’s been argued that a few of their guys haven’t really gone outside the box. None the less, if you’re feeling lucky and you’re a fan of Phil Simms, perhaps CBS has the picks for you. Put em to the test here.

Bleacher Report’s Nate Loop’s picks are pretty on the money considering the spreads. There are quite a few games with extra large spread’s and those are the ones that he looked out for and the ones you should keep an eye on too. If a team has a playoff spot locked, there’s a tremendous chance that they may rest some of their starters in the final meaningless week.
The Washington Redskins are a prime example of that. At the moment, they’re coming in as underdogs even though the decision hasn’t been made yet to sit their top dogs. It’s expected, but it hasn’t been made. If the Skins decide to play their guys and get them a little more real time experience before the playoffs begin, that matchup should be under the spotlight.
We expect that point spread to change, if it’s announced that the Skins are going all-in against their division rivals and featuring their first-stringers.
Now that you’re armed with all these experts picks, it’s time to create a betting account and make your plays.
