Betting Preview for the 2018 NFL Pro Bowl Game on January 28, 2018

Where: Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida

When: Sunday, January 28, 2018 3 PM EST

Line: NFC All Pros vs AFC All Pros – view all 2018 NFL lines

TV Broadcast: NBC

Betting on the NFC All Pros

Point Spread

Carson Wentz won’t be able to participate in the Pro Bowl, but Russell Wilson and Drew Brees will be just fine handling the passing offense of the NFC side. Last year, Brees threw for 112 yards on 10-of-19 completions in the 2017 Pro Bowl. The NFC will also have the services in the backfield of Todd Gurley, Alvin Kamara, and Mark Ingram. Kamara and Ingram has already made Pro Bowl history simply by making the NFC team, as they are just the first running back duo from the same team to get into the Pro Bowl together in 42 years. Speaking Kamara, he is one of the only four rookies on the team, joining Budda Baker, Marshone Lattimore, and Kareem Hunt. Without Odell Beckham, Doug Baldwin, nor Dez Bryant, the NFC will rely on the group of Julio Jones, Michael Thomas, and Larry Fitzgerald for offensive activity downfield.

Betting on the AFC All Pros

Point Spread

Tom Brady nor any other New England Patriots player that was named into the Pro Bowl this season is going to play in this game, but in an event that has an embarrassment of riches in terms of talent, does that even matter? The AFC’s offense will be orchestrated by Phillip Rivers and Ben Roethlisberger. Rivers is the only quarterback for the AFC this year that also appeared in the event in 2017.

The backfield is just as as tasty with Le’Veon Bell, Kareem Hunt, and LeSean McCoy. The AFC arguably has a better receiving corps overall with Antonio Brown, DeAndre Hopkins, A.J Green. And Keenan Allen. Three of those names are in the league’s top five in receiving yards this season. The AFC has won two of the last three AFC vs. NFC setups in the Pro Bowl. Travis Kelce, who won last year’s MVP honors in the event is back, and will be taking on most of the duties for the tight ends with Rob Gronkowski preparing for the Super Bowl.

Writer’s Prediction:

AFC wins, 45-42.
