The No. 18 Kansas State Wildcats have a clear shot at winning the Big 12 regular season title, especially if the No. 8 Texas Tech Red Raiders loses in their own regular-season finale. The Wildcats will win it outright with a win over the Oklahoma Sooners and a loss by Texas Tech. Meanwhile, the Oklahoma Sooners can make things complicated with a win in Manhattan. NCAA futures currently give Oklahoma +15,000 odds to win the 2019 national championship while Kansas State is listed at +5,000.

Betting on the Oklahoma Sooners (18-11 Overall / 6-10 Conference)
After a matchup with the Kansas Jayhawks in their last home game of the regular season, the Sooners will take their talents to Manhattan. Hopefully for Sooners spread bettors, the team’s trend will reflect, as they are 6-2-3 ATS on the road this season. In their last trip away from Norman, however, the Sooners failed to cover their 8-point spread as road underdogs in a 78-61 loss to the Iowa State Cyclones in Ames last last month. Oklahoma knows that if it is to avenge a 74-61 home loss to Kansas State on Jan. 16, the Sooners will have to contain the pair of Dean Wade and Barry Brown Jr. (more about them later), and also need to cut down on their turnovers. They had 16 errors in the first meeting with Oklahoma to just 10 by KSU. The pair of Christian James and Rashard Odomes provided 20 and 17 points in that game for the Sooners, whose defense limits opponents to only 47.0 effective field goal percentage.
The under is 3-0 in their last three road games.
Betting on the Kansas State Wildcats (23-7 Overall / 13-4 Conference)
The Wildcats got tripped up by Kansas last last month, but didn’t waste much time before rebounding, as they scored back-to-back wins over the Baylor Bears at home on Mar. 2 (66-60) and against the TCU Horned Frogs on the road (64-52). Those pair of wins gives Kansas State enough momentum heading into their regular-season finale. It should also help Kansas State feel confidence this weekend that it is playing at home. The Wildcats, however, are just 5-8-1 ATS in home games this season. Still, playing in front of Wildcats fans should provide a tremendous boost for Wade and Brown, who had 20 and 25 points, respectively, in the win over Oklahoma. Brown, in particular, was piping hot from the field in that game, hitting 11 of 19 shots with three 3-pointers in 37 minutes. The Wildcats’ defense is very much capable of leading them to a win. They are fourth nationally with just 59.3 points allowed per contest.
Kansas State is 14-8-0 against the spread (ATS) in games after a win this season.
Writer’s Prediction
Kansas State wins, 65-59.
