He’s still searching for his first win of the season, but by finishing with a T3 in the 2021 Charles Schwab Challenge, he has now extended his streak of made cuts to 10 starts. With that, he’s jumped from 69th in the world rankings to 60th, the highest he’s reached so far this season.
Poulter is ready to make a splash after not playing in the Memorial Tournament. In his last start, he finished with a T3 in the 2021 Charles Schwab Challenge. That makes it 2 of 2 in his last two starts, so there’s momentum going for him. Taking a bigger step back, Poulter is now 6 of 7 in his last eight starts, a stretch that includes a T9 in the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play in March. The 21-year pro is currently seventh in SG; Putting a and fifth in total putting. He’s also second overall in terms of one-putt percentage.
Power has been cut five times in 10 starts so far this season, but it appears as though he’s finally turned a corner. The last time he was cut was in the 2021 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am back in February. Since then, Power has gone 4 of 4, with his last start resulting in a T9 for him in the 2021 AT&T Byron Nelson.
