Betting on the Philadelphia 76ers (26-45)

No one in a Sixers uniform could stop Russell Westbrook from putting on a historic triple-double, his 35th for the season, during Philadelphia’s blowout loss to the Thunder on Wednesday night, 97-122.
Michigan product Nik Stauskas racked up 20 points to lead five double-digit scorers for the Sixers, who have now lost back-to-back contests. Dario Saric, meanwhile, strengthened further his bid for this year’s Rookie of the Year title, finishing with 12 points and three blocks. That’s 21-straight games with a least 10 points from the Croatian.
The Phily defense still sucks, unfortunately. Brett Brown’s crew has given up 234 points combined in their current two-game slide. And as long as that remains to be the case, don’t expect to see this young, inexperienced group on the winning side anytime soon.
The Sixers have lost the previous 12 meetings with Chicago, including double-figure losses in the first two encounters this season.
Betting on the Chicago Bulls (34-38)

Chicago carries one of the most enigmatic offenses in the league today, but during Wednesday’s 117-95 victory over Detroit, the Bulls caught fire as their starters made 68.8 percent of their shot attempts—the fourth-highest field-goal rate by a team’s first unit in a single game this season.
The win placed them in a ninth-place tie in the east and just 1.5 games behind the Heat for the final playoff spot. Nikola Mirotic, who put up a game and season-high 28 points, including four three-pointers, against OKC, is averaging nearly 13 points per game on 46 percent shooting since the All-Star break.
But of course, Jimmy Butler is still the go-to-guy in the Windy City. The All-Star forward averages a team-leading 23.4 points per game. He also posted 26 and 28 points, respectively, in the first two meetings with Philadelphia this season.
