The Dallas Cowboy are the No. 1 squad in the NFC East right now, as they have the best record in the division. However, the Philadelphia Eagles are looming large on Dallas’ rearview mirror after collecting two-straight wins, which is a big part of why the sportsbook has kept the spread relatively tight on this one, with just 3.5-points favoring the iconic home team here in Week 14.
Going into the game, current NFL Futures give the Cowboys +3000 odds to win Super Bowl 53 and +1200 odds to win the NFC Championship. The Eagles are priced at +7500 to win the Super Bowl and +3500 to win the NFC.

Betting on the Philadelphia Eagles (5-6)
Have the Eagles finally recovered? The defending Super Bowl champions netted their seconds-straight win last Monday, when they took down the Washington Redskins at home, 28-13. Carson Wentz was on top of his game, passing for 306 yards and three touchdowns with an interception on 27-of-39 completions. The Eagles’ offense also finally saw the first good game of Golden Tate in Philadelphia threads. Tate had 85 receiving yards and a touchdown on seven catches and seven targets. Tight end Zach Ertz, meanwhile, set a new franchise record for most receptions in a season, when he finished the Washington game with 83 receiving yards on nine catches and 10 targets. The Eagles are 21st in the league with 21.5 points per game and 12th with 22.2 points allowed per contest.
The over is 7-3 in the Eagles’ last 10 road games.
Betting on the Dallas Cowboys (7-5)
The Cowboys team that will host Philadelphia this weekend in Arlington is a far different unit than the one the Eagles met back in Week 10 in Philly. This is a better Cowboys team on both ends of the field. Considering that the Cowboys won the previous matchup, 27-20, this improved Dallas squad should be coming into the rematch brimming with confidence. And how could they not? They are on a four-game win streak and are coming off a huge 13-10 home win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 13. In that game, Dak Prescott had 248 passing yards and a touchdown with zero picks thrown on 24-of-28 completions. Michael Gallup and Cooper formed a reliable tandem downfield with 76 and 75 receiving yards, respectively. But it’s Ezekiel Elliott that the Eagles must be most wary off, as the running back ran circles around them, recording 151 rushing yards and a touchdown on 19 carries in Week 10.
The Cowboys are 3-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last four home games and 4-2 ATS overall on the season when playing at AT&T Stadium, covering 66.7% of the time.
Writer’s Prediction
Dallas wins and just covers with a final score 28-24.
