Do you believe in Fitzmagic? It’s a real thing, as proven by back-to-back magical performances of Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. Can he do it again and outperform Ben Roethlisberger on Monday against the struggling Pittsburgh Steelers? Or will the Steelers pull the rabbit out of hat themselves for their first win of the season?
After what’s happened in the first two weeks of NFL football, the Bucs are now +300 to win the NFC South, while the Steelers are +155 to top the AFC North.

Betting on the Pittsburgh Steelers (0-1-1)
In a showdown between two teams with horrible defenses, its the Steelers that put up a worse defensive performance, losing to the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday, 42-37. The Steelers, however, are dealing with much more than their punching bag defense. The team is reportedly in a turmoil, with wide receiver Antonio Brown failing to show up during Tuesday’s practice. There have been rumors that head coach Mike Tomlin has lost control of his team, which may or may not be true, but the headlines are surely going to be a distraction for a team. Hopefully for the Steelers, Ben Roethlisberger will be able to let all the distractions affect his play. Big Ben powered Pittsburgh’s offense against the Chiefs, going off for 452 passing yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions on 39-of-60 completions. The Steelers are averaging 29.0 points and 473.5 total yards per game thus far this season with both figures ranked inside the top 10 in the league.
The Steelers are 6-0-1 and 4-3 ATS in their last seven games away from Heinz Field.
Betting on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0)
Ryan Fitzpatrick is fast transforming into a football demigod. For the second week in a row, Fitzpatrick ruled the air, as he threw for 402 yards and four touchdowns against just an interception in a 27-21 home win over the reigning Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles’ vaunted defense had no answer to Fitzpatrick who kept on darting passes to DeSean Jackson and company downfield. Jackson had 129 receiving yards and a touchdown on four catches against his former team. There should be little doubt that Fitzpatrick will be able to have another huge game this coming Monday against the Steelers’ defense that allowed Kansas City rookie Patrick Mahomes score on six passing touchdowns.
The Bucs, who are second in the league with 37.5 points per game, are 3-0 SU and ATS in their last three home games.
Writer’s Prediction
Tampa Bay wins their third game in a row, 34-28.
