Poll: Whats Wrong with the Steelers, Giants, Redskins, 49ers, & Packers?

Poll: Whats Wrong with the Steelers, Giants, Redskins, 49ers, & Packers?

Sure, the NFL season is a war zone, but a few teams stand-out for not even showing up yet. What’s wrong with these teams? Is there any hope? Who’s to blame?

Before you bet on this week’s NFL games at the Top Bet Sportsbook, share your thoughts about these duds in the young NFL season.

Tell us which NFL team you think sucks and why

What’s wrong with the New York Giants?

The Giants are sitting at 0-3 and alarm bells are sounding across the five boroughs. The ruthless New York media are calling the team quitters and for their coach to get axed.

And what’s wrong with Eli Manning? Has Peyton magically sapped all his talent and added it to his own, fueling his record-setting season?

The Giants are 0-3 against the spread and as much as New York fans want some heads to roll, their recent 1-5 ATS streak is probably making a few of their own fans bet against them.

What’s wrong with the Washington Redskins?

All the talk is about Robert Griffin III’s knee, but for a team to go 0-3, there’s got to be more than a few things going wrong. The big benefactor here looks to be the Dallas Cowboys, who are benefiting huge from their two biggest rivals falling flat, and the Eagles going through enough growing pains themselves.

Talk is even is building around Kirk Cousins getting a shot if RGIII (literally) falls flat on his face again.

Another 0-3 ATS darling, they face the Oakland Raiders this week and are still favored to win on the road. The Raiders are a terrible 2-10 SU in their last 12 games.

What’s wrong with the San Francisco 49ers?

Hold on a minute… the 49ers went to the Super Bowl, have a star QB who should be getting better by the game, and added parts like Super Bowl Champion Anquan Boldin… and they still can’t duplicate last year’s 13-3 record?

Jim Harbaugh must be losing it behind the scenes, and it can’t be pretty.

The 49ers have an against the spread record of 1-2 so far this season, meaning they’ve made a few enemies in the betting public. A loss to another divisional rival this week against the Rams may put them in danger of not recovering the season.

What’s wrong with the Pittsburgh Steelers?

People expected the ‘Black and Gold’ to take a step back, and it’s happened in more ways than one. They’re 31st in the league in rushing and their entire offensive line could get their papers soon and be shipped up to the CFL.

The team is finger-pointing in all directions and everyone is crying that Bruce Arians can’t come back and put their offense back together, because rumor has it they’ve lost faith in Todd Haley.

The Steelers are a perfect 0-3 against the spread and could quickly end up on a few ‘worst bet’ lists soon. Their next game is against the Vikings who are in a similar 0-3 SU (1-2 ATS) hole for the season.

What’s wrong with the Green Bay Packers?

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith was still caught up in his bromance with Aaron Rodgers when he said “…watch this BAAAD MAN that is Aaron Rogers pull this game out..” on twitter during their latest loss. So what gives? Is all this faith in Rodgers misguided? Can they pull it out like they did last year after a 2-3 start, or can we finally just say that this defense stinks?

The Packers are either blessed or in living hell depending on how you look at their bye this week. They’re back at Lambeau for a week 5 matchup against the Lions.

Does any of this impact who you’ll bet on?

Many of these teams should recover and make the playoffs but some of them might have scared bettors off for good. Let us know who doesn’t deserve your hard earned money anymore.
