Betting on the Seattle Seahawks (6-3)
The Seattle Seahawks had the perfect chance to reclaim the NFC West with the Los Angeles Rams losing Sunday, but were unable to grab hold of that opportunity in their Monday night loss against the Atlanta Falcons. With poor coaching and management throughout the game, the Seahawks were never able to comeback and beat the Falcons.
Seattle outplayed the Falcons in every category but with the poor coaching led to terrible decisions, like going for a fake field goal right before the half. Take the points and the momentum instead next time. Quarterback Russell Wilson was once again electric as he totaled 258 yards through the air and another 86 yards on the ground.
The offense may be looking fine at the moment, but with key injuries to the Legion of Boom, the Seattle Seahawks defense is getting exposed left and right. The Seahawks defense were without key leader Richard Sherman as the glue of the defense was slowly coming apart on Monday. Who will step up this Sunday?
Betting on the San Francisco 49ers(1-9)
Each week the San Francisco 49ers have showcased their young talent, but sometimes it does not go the right way as they sit with nine losses on the season. However in their recent game against the New York Giants, everything went the right way in the victory. San Francisco scored 31 points as they defeated the New York Giants 31-21. It was an offensive explosion for the 49ers as they totaled almost 200 yards on the ground and almost 300 yards through the air.
First, let’s start with the improvement of quarterback C.J. Beathard. The young quarterback has been extremely impressive thus far as he completed 19 of his 25 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns. He led the offense and opened up a running game that has yet to see the light expect in this victory.
San Fran ran all over the Giants as the lead back Carlos Hyde had 17 carries for 98 yards on the day. Backup running back Matt Breida also had 55 yards on nine carries as the 49ers moved the ball around. With the offense clicking, and the defense slowly learning from their past mistakes, will the 49ers pull off another upset?
Writer’s Prediction:
Call me crazy, but the San Francisco 49ers have a great chance to upset the Seahawks this Sunday. It is going to be a very close game but I do see Wilson once again leading the Seahawks for a touchdown winning drive late. Pick: San Francisco (+7)
