Super Bowl 51 Betting Trends and Update – February 3, 2017

As of February 2nd at 8pm ET on TopBet.eu:

Moneyline: Falcons – 59%; Patriots 41%

From 62% back on Wednesday, the Falcons have now dropped down to just 59% in terms of moneyline bets, while the Pats have jumped from 38% to 41%. The moneyline odds have also shifted pretty significantly for both teams. From -165, the Pats are now just -155 favorites, while the Falcons have gone from +145 to +135.

Point Spread: Falcons – 48%; Patriots – 52%

The point spread remains very close, with almost an even split of the bets. The Patriots continue to hold a slim lead over Atlanta in terms of point spread betting, but their lead dropped down a tick from 53% a few days ago to 52%. New England remains 3-point favorites, but the vig has gone from -120 down to -115.

Over/Under: Over – 83%; Under – 17%

While the moneyline and point spread saw marginal shifts, the over/under had quite a huge shift in a span of a few days. The OVER was at 60% on Wednesday, but has since jumped to 83% of the total bets. That huge influx of bets on the OVER has caused the line to shift from 59.5 down to 59.0 at the moment.
