There’s not a lot of history to go off of when it comes to a match-up between these two teams here at the start of Week 11. The pre-Mariota days saw the Steelers claim a 27-24 victory. Le’Veon Bell carried for 204 yards and a TD while Ben Roethlisberger threw for 207 yards. That doesn’t mean anything three years later. The Steelers are 7-3 straight up and 5-5 against the spread in their last 10 games at home against AFC South teams. In the process Pittsburgh has covered seven of their last 10 games overall, as a favorite at home. On the flip side, the Titans are currently 3-7 straight up and against the spread in their past 10 road games, as the underdog.

Betting on the Tennessee Titans (6-3)
The Titans are looking good to make the playoffs for the first time in 9 years, currently tied with Jacksonville on top of the AFC South, which could lead to a deciding game between the two as they finish the season against one another in Tennessee. The Titans are on a four game winning streak after a close one (24-20) in Week 10 win over Cincinnati when Mariota made a 7-yard pass to Murray to seal the deal. It should be noted that their past three wins have been by four points or less.
The Titans rushed for 180 yards and two TDs. On the road, the Titans are 2-2 straight up and 1-3 against the spread.
Betting on the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-2)
The Pittsburgh Steelers are pretty much guaranteed to repeat in the AFC South (knock on wood, Steelers fans) with a solid three-game lead in the division. The rest of their schedule is favorable given that they have just two road games left in the season. Like the Titans, the Steelers are enjoying a four game winning streak after a narrow victory in Week 10 over the Colts, although they failed to cover as a double-digit favorite.
QB Roethlisberger hit Brown with a 32-yard pass with 35 seconds left in the game to set up a wining 33-yard field goal as the clock expired, courtesy of Chris Boswell. To be honest, the Steelers didn’t really play all that well, coming out of their bye week, which could hurt their momentum, something that the Titans are certainly feeling here in Week 11. The Steelers also lost starting cornerback Joe Haden, who left the game with a broken left fibula.
At home, the Steelers are 2-1 straight up and against the spread.
Writer’s Prediction:
On paper, the Steelers should have this one, but this writer is not convinced. Maybe there is just something in the air but it feels like Mariota is going to have an epic game here in Week 11 and uplift his team to an on the road upset in Pittsburgh. Pick: Titans (+7)
