The No. 11 Houston Cougars are the best team in the AAC right now, and they will look to further cement that status when they go up against the Houston Cougars in a rematch this weekend. The Knights, however, gave Houston quite a challenge in the first meeting, so it’s not wise to sleep on them in this matchup. Check out our preview of this game below.

Betting on the UCF Knights (odds)
Record: 3-4 Overall / 1-3 Conference
UCF suffered another loss last Thursday, falling in the hands of the Temple Owls on the road, 62-55. Darin Green led the Knights in that game with 17 points in 37 minutes. Green did not get much help from his teammates, especially from his fellow starters, as he was the only one who scored more than seven points, though Isaiah Adam poured in 17 points as well in 32 minutes off the bench. The Knights wanted to see more from Brandan Mahan in the rematch with Houston after he bombed out with just four points on 1-of-9 shooting against the Owls. Despite his disappointing performance in the Temple game, Mahan still paces the Knights this season with an average of 15.6 points per game. He had 13 points in the Knights’ 63-54 home loss to the Cougars on Dec. 26.
UCF is putting up 64.6 points per game and has seen the total hit the under in all of its last three contests.
