Betting Preview for the Washington Commanders vs Chicago Bears Week 6 Game on October 13, 2022

Where: Soldier Field, Chicago, Illinois

When: Thursday, October 13, 2022, 8:15 PM ET

Line: Washington Commanders (+1.5) vs Chicago Bears (-1.5) – view all 2022 NFL lines

TV Broadcast: Prime Video

Betting on the Washington Commanders (+1.5)

Regular Season Record: 1-4

Washington is going to need a whole lot more stability from quarterback Carson Wentz. Things haven’t gone Wentz’s way in his first year in Commanders uniform, Wentz is getting intercepted and sacked at a high rate. Against the Titans, he threw for 359 yards and two touchdowns but got intercepted once and sacked three times for a loss of 17 yards. But he might not have to feel so much pressure in Week 6, with Brian Robinson and Antonio Gibson having the potential to explode versus the Bears’ defense which is among the worst in the league in stopping the run.

The Under is 4-1 in the Commanders’ last five games overall.

Bet on the Washington Football Team

Betting on the Chicago Bears (-1.5)

Regular Season Record: 2-3

The Bears looked much better in their loss to Week 5 than in their defeat in the previous contest against the New York Giants. There is still a long way to go for Justin Fields and the Bears’ offense but at least it took a step towards the right direction in Week 5, with Fields passing for a touchdow and driving the offense enough for the Bears to make a momentary lead after being down big. As disappointing as they have been this season so far, the Bears have collected wins against a team like the San Francisco 49ers. Considering that, the Commanders are looking very beatable for Chicago.

The Bears are 1-1-1 against the spread in their last three games.

Bet on the Chicago Bears

Writer’s Prediction

The Commanders win, 23-20.
