In Person – Erin Hills Golf Course in Hartford, Wisconsin

Wisconsin will play host to the US Open for the first time in history, and what a venue it could be. The Erin Hills is known to be long and wide, and will be a perfect barometer to every golfer’s true striking power. Along with that, of course, could mean a more interesting vibe for the fans who would attend the actual event.

The course is located 35 miles northwest of Milwaukee. They have a pretty detailed info on their website regarding the location, which has a step-by-step direction on driving to the course if you’re coming from any of these areas:

  • Downtown Milwaukee
  • Chicago
  • Green Bay
  • Kohler
  • Madison
  • Milwaukee General Mitchell International Airport
  • Minneapolis

USGA.com is no longer selling tickets, but Stub Hub still is. Watching players practice will only cost you $25, but once it gets to the tournament itself, prices can go up to roughly $200. Other special tix, which includes special passes throughout the venue, may cost no less than $640.

For places to visit around Erin area, you can expect a long list of attractions. It includes restaurants, boutiques, museums, and a whole lot more.
