The Los Angeles Rams (+300 to win Super bowl 53) will travel to Windy City this weekend to pay the Chicago Bears (+2,000 to win Super Bowl 53) a visit. The Rams have already secured a spot (obviously) in the playoffs and are safely on top of the NFC West with an 11-1 record. As for the Bears, they are also atop their conference, as they are brandishing the NFC North’s best record of 8-4. The sportsbook keeps this one somewhat surprisingly tight, making the nearly undefeated Rams just 3.5-point favorites in the game. Even as the “away” team many experts expect a bigger win margin for the leading Super Bowl contenders here in Week 14. There is definitely something for bettors to think about.

Betting on the Los Angeles Rams (11-1)
It’s getting boring for the Rams, who won their 11th game of the season last Sunday by taking down the Detroit Lions on the road, 301-16. Jared Goff didn’t need a big game this time around – unlike in the previous win against the Kansas City Chiefs – as he went only 17-of-33 for 207 yards and a touchdown against an interception. The Rams can at times afford a subpar performance from Goff because they are have other elite talents to carry the team. Take for example Todd Gurley, who rushed for 132 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 23 carries in the Detroit game. The Rams are second in the NFL in scoring offense with an average of 34.9 points per game. On defense, the Rams are anchored by a beast in defensive tackle Aaron Donald, who has a massive total of 16.5 sacks thus far this season.
The Rams are 2-1 ATS in their last three road games.
Betting on the Chicago Bears (8-4)
Apparently, Chase Daniel can’t do it two times in a row, which is to lead the Bears to a win. After guiding Chicago to a win over the Detroit Lions in Week 12, Daniel fell short in Week 13’s 30-27 loss to the New York Giants at home. Despite that, Daniel might start again for the Bears, with Mitchell Trubisky’s status still unclear. What’s certain is that the Bears’ defense will have its key players roaming the field against the Rams. That means Khalil Mack, Roquan Smith, Danny Trevathan, and Akiem Hicks will all be there to give the Rams’ offense plenty of trouble. Chicago also has safety Eddie Jackson, who’s been huge for the Bears’ secondary. The second-year pro product of Alabama has four interceptions this season, collecting two of those in the past three games. The Bears are fourth in the league defensively with just 20.1 points allowed per game. They should make Gurley’s life harder on the ground, as the Bears are second in the NFL with 85.8 rushing yards surrendered per contest.
The Bears are 3-0 ATS in their last three home games and 6-1 ATS in their last seven at Soldier Field.
Writer’s Prediction
Los Angeles wins and covers, 27-21.
