2015 NFL Week 4 Fantasy Sleepers

Quarterback – Tyrod Taylor

It’s likely that Tyrod Taylor went undrafted in your fantasy league. After all, it’s just his first year as a team’s unquestioned starter; he didn’t even play a game last year. But Taylor has thrived with the Buffalo Bills this season as a dual threat quarterback. He threw for 519 yards passing with six touchdowns and three interceptions over the past two weeks.

[sc:NFL240banner ]Although he has thrown some interceptions already, Taylor made up for those by making some big plays with his legs. He’s rushed for 96 yards on 17 carries with a touchdown this season. Taylor’s a solid option at quarterback, especially considering that the Giants have a wide-open defense that has given up the 20th-most points to opposing signal callers in standard fantasy leagues.

Running Back – Karlos Williams

Karlos Williams

Buffalo’s Karlos Williams is the only—I repeat, only—running back in the league with a rushing touchdown in each of the first three games this season. He’s not even the Bills’ starter; that distinction belongs to LeSean McCoy. And yet, Williams is averaging a ridiculous 7.8 yards per carry. Considering his big game in Week 3 (110 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries), he’s due to get plenty more touches for the weeks to come.

Wide Receiver – Rishard Matthews

It’s time to give Rishard Matthews the props he deserves. He’s been the Miami Dolphins’ best wide receiver thus far this season. Not Jarvis Landry, Kenny Stills or DeVante Parker. Matthews now has back-to-back 100-yard receiving games with two touchdowns in Week 3. He’ll be a great asset for the Fins against the Jets’ secondary, which would likely put the clamps on Miami’s No. 1 receiver Landry instead in Week 4.

Tight End – Charles Clay

Charles Clay

Looking for a tight end to fill in for Rob Gronkowski (bye) in Week 4? Look no further than a fellow AFC East rival, as Buffalo’s Charles Clay is looking hot after hauling in a touchdown in each of the past two games. Clay has a favorable matchup against a New York Giants defense too, which has allowed the third-most points to opposing tight ends in standard scoring leagues.

Defense – San Diego Chargers

You might think the Chargers’ defense sucks, especially after allowing an average of 27.8 points per game through the first three weeks. But hear us out: the Chargers face a dysfunctional Cleveland offense in Week 4, no matter whether its Josh McCown or Johnny Manziel starting under center. Cleveland has allowed the fourth-most sacks (10) this season. If you’re looking for an edge in a matchup-driven position, nab the Chargers.
