The Rangers, on the other hand, will have Cole Hamels (13-4, 2.80 ERA) as their starting pitcher tonight. The lefty will be looking to notch his first career win against the Indians tonight. The Dodgers will look to sustain the momentum of that huge win when they lock horns with the Giants in the final game of their three-game set.
Pitching for the Dodgers in this series finale is Ross Stripling (3-4, 4.04 ERA). The talented right-hander will be making his first start against the Giants tonight since hurling 7.1 innings of no-hit ball against them in his MLB debut on April 8. Stripling has been solid for Los Angeles of late, posting a 3.71 ERA in his three August starts.
The reeling Giants, on the other hand, will have Matt Moore (7-10, 4.18 ERA) as their starting pitcher tonight. He has struggled mightily with his command since joining San Francisco, allowing 17 walks in 23 innings for the club.
