Kobe Bryant returned to the court for the first time since tearing his Achilles, but the Lakers still fell 106-94 to the Toronto Raptors. Bryant was just 2-9 shooting for 9 points, with 8 rebounds and 4 assists and 8 turnovers.

The Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears are both in search of a win to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Dallas in December with Tony Romo are a mediocre 13-17, but the Cowboys look ready to buck that trend this year. They have won two games in a row after their bye, to keep pace with the streaking Eagles atop the NFC East. Romo himself is playing reasonably well; he’s completed 66% of his passes during their mini winning streak.
On the flipside, the Bears have lost their last two games, but thanks to the Lions’ slip-ups, they’re still just half a game from the NFC North lead. However, starting QB Jay Cutler is still unavailable against the Cowboys. If Josh McCown can pull off another 350 yard game, 2 TD game like he has in the past two weeks, the Bears could pull off the upset.
With two subpar defenses on display, there are bound to be plenty of points scored in this game. The over is 4-1 in the Cowboys’ last 5 games overall, and 10-4 in the Bears’ last 14 games.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Sacramento Kings (10:00 PM ET)
Fresh off their big win over the surging Trailblazers, the Dallas Mavericks head to Sacramento to welcome the newest King.
The Mavs inflicted a rare home loss to the Blazers at Portland last Saturday as the terrific duo of Dirk Nowitzki and Monta Ellis combined for 50 points to power Dallas to victory. Nowitzki has started December strong, with 20+ point games in each of their first three games this month. The Mavericks are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings with the Kings.
The Mavs face the Kings, who will most likely have the services of the newly-acquired Rudy Gay for the first time. Gay was the main piece in yesterday’s seven-player trade between Sacramento and the Toronto Raptors. Gay was averaging 19.4 points on just 38% shooting and 7.4 rebounds for the Raptors this season. The Over is 6-0 in the two teams’ last 6 meetings in Sacramento.
