Sacramento Kings vs. Houston Rockets (8:00 PM ET)

Rudy Gay had his best game in a Kings uniform Tuesday night when he stuffed the stat sheet full with 41 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists to lead Sacramento in a big 114-97 win over the Pelicans. The Kings now have won five of their last eight games. Center DeMarcus Cousins, the Kings most consistent player, delivered yet again another double-double production – his 15th consecutive – finishing with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

The Kings will end their six-game road trip tonight against the Rockets, whom they had beaten twice already this season both straight up and against the spread.

Odds: Kings (+10) vs. Rockets (-10), O/U: 215.5

The Rockets picked up their second straight victory on Monday in their five-game home stand against top contender Portland 126-113. Forward Chandler Parsons recovered from a sub par eight-point performance against the Bucks last Saturday by recording near triple-double numbers of 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists.[sc:NBA240banner ]

Adding power to the Rockets’ backcourt is Patrick Beverley, who returned to action after missing 14 games to recuperate from a hand injury. He immediately made his presence known by scoring 17 points against the Blazers. The Rockets are 4-1 SU in their last five games and went Over in the last two.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. San Antonio Spurs  (8:00 PM ET)

Kevin Durant once again made basketball look easy when he dropped 46 points on the Blazers in Oklahoma City’s 105-97 home win last night. It was Durant’s fourth game this January where he scored at least 40 points. Just last Friday, the long-limbed MVP candidate torched Golden State with a mind-bending 54 points. Over the last five games, Durant is averaging 38.0 PPG.

But Durant isn’t the only reason the Thunder are 4-0 SU and ATS in their last four games. The absence of Russell Westbrook prompted another Thunder player to step up their play. Serge Ibaka was one of them, he posted averages of 18.0 PPG and 11.0 RPG in Oklahoma City’s last five games.

Odds: Thunder (+6) vs. Spurs (-6), O/U: 207.0

The Spurs had a breeze dismantling the lowly Bucks at home 110-82, on Sunday. Tonight, San Antonio will be up against a much more lethal team, the Kevin Durant-led Thunder. The Spurs have had tough times against the Thunder as evident by their poor 2-8 SU record in their last 10 match-ups against Oklahoma City. Nevertheless, the Spurs are 7-1 SU in their last eight games.

Tony Parker could be out for the second game in a row tonight to nurse a shin injury. He sat the game against Milwaukee but it hardly mattered for the Spurs, who got a total of 45 points from guards Cory Joseph, Nando de Colo, and Patty Mills.
