Cleveland Browns vs Houston Texans Predictions, Picks, Odds and Betting Preview – NFL Week 6 2017

The interest surrounding this game is based on the winless record of the Browns. Bettors like the fact that as 1o-point underdogs the odds end up working in their (the bettors) favor, because what is the probability of the Browns actually losing again? With the Texans 2-3 record, a Browns victory may be viable and could result in a solid payday for those who wager accordingly.

Betting on the Cleveland Browns (0-5)

Point Spread: +10

Can you say due for a win? The Cleveland Browns will head to Houston to take on Texans as the question will loom on should have the Browns selected Deshaun Watson with their No. 1 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. It will be a new life on the offense for the Browns as former starting quarterback DeShone Kizer will head to bench as all signs are point toward quarterback Kevin Hogan.

Hogan has filled in for Kizer at times and on the season, Hogan is 26-for-38 with 377 passing yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. In their latest loss, he completed 16 of 19 passes which led the offense to 14 second-half points.

There is hope for this Cleveland Browns team as maybe Hogan is the answer for the offense. Let Kizer learn a bit more as Hogan has the experience to lead the Browns to their first victory. Will it come against the Houston Texans?

Betting on the Houston Texans (2-3)

Point Spread: -10

It is going to be a loss that the Houston Texans will never be able to fill. Defensive star and captain of this Houston team J.J. Watt suffered an injury in their recent game against the Kansas City Chiefs and won’t be able to play for the rest of the season. However, Watt is a fighter and will still rally his team for every game even if he is not playing.

In their shootout loss to the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs, the Texans showed a new team that will be able to compete in the heart of the AFC South race. Even though the Texans hold a 2-3 record, they are tied with the Titans and Colts in second place. Houston is only a game back from first place from the surprising Jaguars.

To take the first place lead, rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson will have to continue his outstanding performance. In Week 5, Watson threw for 261 passing yards with five touchdowns

and only one mistake with the interception. Watson is finding his groove and is proving the NFL why he is the best rookie.

Writer’s Prediction

The Cleveland Browns have found new life with quarterback Hogan, but Watson will let the whole Browns organization know a possibly mistake they had in the draft. Pick: Texans (-10)
