Betting on the Kansas City Chiefs (6-3)
The Kansas City Chiefs are in perfect situation to have a push to the playoffs in the next three games as they go up against the New York Giants, Buffalo Bills and New York Jets. All games should be winnable and be favored huge in the spread. For the first game of this series, the Chiefs will be taking on the Giants who have been completely awful.
No need to panic against the Giants as have a horrible pass and run defense which should get quarterback Alex Smith and running back Hunt back into their winning ways.
In their recent loss against the Dallas Cowboys, quarterback Alex Smith completed 25 of his 34 passes for 263 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Running back Kareem Hunt only rushed the ball 9 times in that loss as Kansas City must give Hunt at least 20+ touches in this game.
Betting on the New York Giants (1-8)
If the New York Giants lose to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 16, they would have lost to every single team in the NFC West. Which includes the San Francisco 49ers. New York is off a horrible three game losing streak against the NFC West as they got beat down by the Seahawks, Rams and now not winless anymore 49ers.
The Giants are now a dumpster fire as the San Francisco 49ers beat them in every single category and enjoyed their first win of the season. New York would lose 31-21 as the only positive from this game was the offense as quarterback Eli Manning and wide receiver Sterling Shepard were in sync all game.
New York almost had 400 total yards of offense, but they gave up almost 500 to the 49ers who came into that game with zero wins. Will they be able to stop the Chiefs?
Writer’s Prediction:
The offense of New York is finally clicking as they should be able to stay within the spread for most of the game. It won’t be close but the Giants will barely squeak past this spread. A quick start will get New York going for the game. Pick: New York (+10.5)
