Betting on the Carolina Panthers (11-4)
The Carolina Panthers are rocking a three game winning streak with their only loss coming against the New Orleans Saints back in Week 12. With the great performance by quarterback Cam Newton, the Panthers are going to be a dangerous team in the NFL playoffs coming soon.
In their recent win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it was an off day for the whole team, but still got the win in the perfect moment. The Buccaneers had a field day against the Carolina secondary as the Panther must improve their secondary against an Atlanta team that has the potential to air it out all night long.
Carolina would allow the Buccaneers offense to have almost 400 yards through the air. If they want to be an elite team in the playoffs, shutting down Matt Ryan would be huge.
Even though they cannot move up or down in the playoff situation, head coach rivera said the team is going all out in this game.
Betting on the Atlanta Falcons (9-6)
The Atlanta Falcons have had some tough games the past four game stretch as they faced the likes of the Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and recently the New Orleans Saints again. In their first matchup, Matt Ryan would lit up the Saints secondary, but they learned a second time around.
Ryan only completed 22 of his 36 passes for 288 passing yards as he finished it with one touchdown and one interception. The passing game was off from the second drive as a crucial interception set the mode for the whole game.
With the Falcons already so far behind in the game, they could not start to get a running game going as star Devonta Freeman did not have a good game. He would finish the day with 36 rushing yards on 11 carries. Who is going to step up for the Falcons in this game? Somebody needs to step up for the Falcons as the Panthers are not going to let them easily walk into the playoffs. Must watch game for sure.
Writer’s Prediction
Na Na Na Na, Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey Goodbye. The Carolina Panthers are going to rebound huge against the Atlanta Falcons as they will knock them out of the playoffs. Take the four points as the Panthers get a field goal win. Pick: Carolina (+4.0)
