1. Virginia Cavaliers

Virginia dropped its first ACC game as they lost to Duke 69-65 in Cameron Indoor Stadium. However, the spread-covering four-point loss ensured the surprising second-placed Cavaliers maintained their immaculate 5-0 ATS record through the last five games.

The Cavs have kept opponents under 70 points for seven consecutive games and are the 3rd ranked defense in the country (56.2 points allowed).

2. Michigan Wolverines

More impressively, three of their last wins have come against teams ranked in the top 10, including a big road win in East Lansing against rivals Michigan State.

3. Syracuse Orange

#2 Syracuse is making the most seamless transition to a new conference possible. The Orange – one of just three undefeated teams left standing – are 5-0 SU and ATS in their last five games and have swept through the ACC thus far.

Syracuse will host the #17 Duke Blue Devils this weekend at the Carrier Dome. The Orange are already 3-0 SU and ATS against ranked opponents this year.

4. Kansas Jayhawks

Kansas is shaping up to be the title contender everyone expected them to be. The Jayhawks are currently on a six game-winning streak – they defeated four ranked teams in a row – and have gone 5-1 ATS during that span.

Superstar freshmen Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid are leading the way for the Jayhawks, are the only team left that has yet to lose within the loaded Big 12.

5. Kansas State Wildcats

The blowout loss in Lawrence to the Jayhawks snapped K-State’s six-game win streak against the spread. The Wildcats have lost two games on the bounce – at Texas and at Iowa State – but their single-digit margins of defeat ensured that they still won both games ATS.
