The 9-4 New England Patriots still can’t afford to relax, as they have yet to lock up the AFC East title, which they could have had accomplished last week if they finished the job against the Miami Dolphins. As for the Pittsburgh Steelers, they are trying to arrest a three-game skid and keep themselves in the playoff picture in the AFC.
The Patriots are +700 to win Super Bowl 53, while the Steelers are +2,600 to win it all.

Betting on the New England Patriots (9-4)
The Patriots reminded the world that they are still vulnerable after losing to the Miami Dolphins via a late-game lateral play, 34-33. Having said that, if there’s a team capable of forgetting a traumatic experience and shake off a loss over a short period of time, it’s the Patriots, whose tandem of head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady has seen it all. Notwithstanding the loss to Miami, Brady looked effective as usual in that game, passing for 358 yards and three touchdowns with zero errors on 27-of-43 completions for a 112.4 passer rating. It was disappointing, however, for the Patriots that they made Ryan Tannehill looked liked a tier-1 quarterback by allowing him to rack up 265 passing yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions on just 19 passes. The Patriots will have to put more pressure on Steelers’ receivers than what they did in the Miami game to keep Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger from gaining too much rhythm.
The under is 3-1 in the Patriots’ last four road games.
Betting on the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-5-1)
The Steelers lost a game last Sunday they have no business losing. Up against a going-nowhere Oakland Raiders, the Steelers took a 24-21 loss to Derek Carr and company. While the loss can be partly blamed to Ben Roethlisberger leaving the game for a stretch due to a rib injury. He still managed to get back and finish with 282 passing yards and two touchdowns and zero interceptions on 25-of-29 completions. He should be good to go in the Patriots game, especially considering the importance of the matchup. The status of breakout running back James Conner remains up in the air even after missing the Raiders game with a leg injury, and it’s likely he’ll miss this week’s assignment, too. If he gets ultimately ruled out, the Steelers will turn to the likes of Jaylen Samuels and Stevan Ridley for most of their ground work. The team’s pass rush is also going to play a key role here. The Steelers are tops in the NFL with 45.0 sacks, thus far this season.
The Steelers are 3-1 ATS in their last four home games.
