Betting on the Buffalo Bills (9-4)

The Bills had their three-game winning streak came to an end last Sunday, as they lost to the rampaging Baltimore Ravens, 24-17 at home . Buffalo’s defense held up better against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens than most other teams opposite Baltimore, as the Bills allowed just 257 total yards in that game. However, the  Bills’ offense wasn’t able to reciprocate the good job of their defensive counterparts. Josh Allen passed for only 146 passing yards and a touchdown on 17-of-39 completions, while the Bills’ ground attack went touchdown-less and finished with 104 rushing yards on 23 carries. Wide receiver John Brown has seen his production dip of late. After going off for 137 receiving yards and two touchdown receptions in a win over the Miami Dolphins, Brown hasn’t had more than 39 receiving yards in each of the three games since. He will be a good barometer for how good the Bills with fare in Week 15.

The Bills, who are averaging 21.1 points per contest, are 3-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last four outings.

Betting on the Pittsburgh Steelers (8-5)

The Steelers are doing the most and having success with a banged-up roster. They are on a roll, winning all of their last three games, including last Sunday’s 23-17 road win over the Arizona Cardinals. It’s likely that the Steelers will put under center undrafted rookie quarterback Devlin Hodges again instead of giving the starting job back to Mason Rudolph. Hodges wasn’t great but steady in the Arizona game, passing for 152 yards and a touchdown on 16-of-19 completions. If JuJu Smith-Schuster manages to get back to the field after missing three games due to a knee injury, Hodges will be more comfortable taking shots downfield. Running back James Conner is also trending in the right direction after missing the last three games with a shoulder injury.

The Steelers are 2-0-1 ATS in their last three games.
