Betting on the Baltimore Ravens (-7.5)

Regular Season Record: 6-2

The Ravens returned from a Week 8 bye and promptly picked up a 34-31 overtime win over the Minnesota Vikings at home in Week 9. It was another evidence that when it comes to shootouts, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are more than likely to be the last ones standing. Jackson passed for 266 yards and three touchdowns with an interception on 27/41 completions. Baltimore also rushed for over 100 more yards than Minnesota, which also says a lot about the Ravens’ defense, considering that the other team has Dalvin Cook. The Vikings scored over 30 points against Baltimore in large part because they have the weapons. Miami doesn’t have a lot of that, though, so look for the Ravens to feast on offense against the Dolphins, whose defense has been a big letdown this season.

The over is 3-1 in the Ravens’ last four games overall.

Betting on the Miami Dolphins (+7.5)

Regular Season Record: 2-7

For the first time since the first week of the regular season, the Ravens tasted victory, beating the lowly Houston Texans at home in Week 9 to the tune of a 17-9 win. And the Fins did that with Tua Tagovailoa sidelined because of a finger injury. Tagovailoa could return to action as soon as Week 10, while Jacoby Brissett will be ready for a spot start in case the former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback sits out again. Brissett was by no means spectacular in the Texans game, as he passed for 244 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions on 26/43 completions, but he can be steady enough to guide Miami from under center. Jackson is surely going to be a handful for Miami’s defense, but the Dolphins are coming off a five-sack performance, so that’s a nice way to prepare for the Ravens’ dual-threat quarterback.

The under is 3-1 in the Dolphins’ last four games overall.
