Betting on the Tennessee Titans (+4.5)

Regular Season Record: 0-0

The Titans made the NFL playoffs a season ago but were taken out right away by Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Divisional Round, leaving a very bad taste in the mouth of Tennessee. However, this season brings another reason for the Titans to be optimistic about their chances. For one, they now have monster running back Derrick Henry healthy, But since Thursday’s game against the Ravens isn’t really all that important, Henry might not at all see the field until the regular season. If you’re looking for a high-potential difference-maker in this game for the Titans, it could be rookie quarterback Malik Willis, who was picked by Tennessee in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. The Titans still have Ryan Tannehill, but the Titans could be already grooming Willis as the future of the team under center. There’s also highly-touted rookie quarterback Treylon Burks out of Arkansas who’s been wowing people in the training camp.

The Over is 3-1 in the Titans’ last three preseason games.

Bet on the Tennessee Titans

Betting on the Baltimore Ravens (-4.5)

Regular Season Record: 0-0

If there’s one thing to know about the Ravens heading to this game, it’s that they don’t seem to know to lose in the preseason. In fact, they are undefeated in all of their last 20 preseason games, dating back to 2016. The last time Baltimore tasted a preseason loss was in 2015. What’s more is that they are an incredible 18-2 against the spread in that same 20-game stretch, so it’s going to be hard to resist taking Baltimore in this upcoming contest at home. Whether Lamar Jackson plays or not at all in this game against the Titans, Baltimore will not be short in talent on the field, including the team’s problematic offensive line in 2021 that allowed 57 sacks. Rookie first-rounder center Tyler Linderbaum, however, will not be out on the field after a minor foot injury suffered recently. Meanwhile, another rookie first-rounder in safety Kyle Hamilton can be expected to see snaps against Tennessee for the Ravens’ defense that was gashed for nearly 280 passing yards per game in 2021.

The Under is 3-1 in the Ravens’ last four games in the preseason.
