Jacksonville Jaguars vs Indianapolis Colts Predictions, Picks, Odds, and Betting Preview | NFL Week 6 – October 16, 2022

The Jacksonville Jaguars are undefeated no more after losing to the Cincinnati Bengals on the road in Week 4, 27-15. On the other side, the Indianapolis Colts already have half of the total wins they had in 2021 after just four games this season. Will the Jaguars return to the win column on Sunday? Or will the Colts collect their third win of the season by going back-to-back? Check out our preview of this Jaguars vs Colts game in Week 6 of the 2022 NFL regular season.

Line: Jacksonville Jaguars (+1.5) vs Indianapolis Colts (-1.5) – view all 2022 NFL lines

TV Broadcast: CBS

Betting on the Jacksonville Jaguars (+1.5)

Regular Season Record: 2-3

The Jaguars have a long way to go to gain respect in the NFL, but if they want to get back at it, they will have to find their mojo on defense. Jacksonville forced eight turnovers in their first three games and drew just once over the course of their last two games. That said, opportunities on that end of the field could come as soon as Sunday against an error-prone Colts’ attack that entered Week 6 ranked 30th in the league in giveaways per game. Plus the Jags have already defeated Indianapolis back in Week 2 at home, 24-0.

The Jaguars are 2-2 against the spread in their last four games overall.

Bet on the Jacksonville Jaguars

Betting on the Indianapolis Colts (-1.5)

Regular Season Record: 2-2-1

Coming off such an ugly game that at least they won, the Colts will look to play with much more poise and coherence this time around. Matt Ryan threw two interceptions and went just 26/41 for 251 passing yards against the Broncos, while star wide receiver only managed to collect 59 receiving yards on five catches and eight targets. However, things should look up for the Colts’ offense if Jonathan Taylor gets the green light to play after missing Week 6 with an ankle issue.

The Under is 10-0 in the Colts’ last 10 games.

Bet on the Indianapolis Colts

Writer’s Prediction

The Colts win, 24-20.
